De-oiling, de-phenolisation and de-sugaring in one stage

Single-stage spray technology with a chain conveyor. The process avoids high-temperature cooking and reduces thermal load during processing, helping to minimize protein denaturation and preserve proteins and amino acids. Technical materials report energy savings of more than 50%.

Delinting

Cleaning the fuzzy seed, delinting in three passes, cleaning and baling the linter.

Dehulling

Weighing, iron removal, knife-and-plate huller, precise separation of kernels from hulls, conditioning and flaking.

Extraction

Low-temperature extraction, alkali refining of the miscella, de-phenolisation and de-sugaring, closed-loop solvent recovery.

04

Milling

Sieving, grinding, screen classification, milling and packing of the finished protein powder.

Four process lines

Zero-waste production: one tonne of seed yields protein concentrate, oil, hulls, raffinose and gossypol.

1 · Delinting

Fuzzy seed → Cleaning → Delinting I, II, III → Linter cleaning → Linter baling

By-products: dust and impurities, soil, linter bale.

2 · Pre-treatment

Pre-cleaning → Weighing → Iron removal → Dehulling → Kernel and hull separation → Conditioning → Flaking → Forming → Drying

3 · Extraction and de-phenolisation

Kernel flakes → Extraction → Wet meal → Drying → De-phenolised cottonseed protein

In parallel: concentrated miscella → first evaporator → alkali refining → second evaporator → stripping column → crude oil. Solvent vapours are condensed and returned to the loop.

4 · Grinding and packing

De-phenolised protein → Sieving → Grinding → Screen classification → Milling → Sieving → Finished protein powder

What low temperature delivers

Reduced protein denaturation

Low-temperature air-assisted drying helps reduce thermal denaturation and preserve the nutritional value of proteins and amino acids.

Gossypol under control

Free gossypol is controlled according to the product specification; batch-specific results are reported on the COA.

Zero-waste production

Alongside the concentrate the process yields cottonseed oil, hulls, raffinose and gossypol — five times the value per tonne of seed compared with the meal process.

Better pelleting

Adding 5–20% CPC increases pellet durability and the expansion rate of low-starch extruded feed, limits oil leakage and cuts production losses by 1 percentage point.
